At Adecoagro we continue to strengthen our sustainable production model. For this reason, we have incorporated a second biodigester in our dairy farms to generate renewable energy from by-products.

Do you know how the Biodigester works?

In a Circular Economy model, our biodigesters transform cow manure into electrical energy. What comes out of the biodigesters returns to the field as biofertilizer for crops and fodder that will later feed our cows.

Our second Biodigester has an installed capacity of 2 MW and an energy generation potential of 17,500 MWh per year.
