"Corporate Social Responsibility" (CSR) is the set of policies, procedures, practices and programs that lead all our activities and which are intended to contribute to the increase of wealth and general well-being of the communities in which we operate.

From its inception, Adecoagro has worked in what we consider to be the foundations of Corporate Social Responsibility: in connection with employees, preserving their health and safety, and promoting their professional and personal development; in connection with suppliers and customers, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring the appropriate conditions for third parties´ employees; in connection with the Government, complying with rules and regulations, and working in a transparent way; and in connection with the community, creating new jobs, preserving the environment, giving traineeship opportunities and assisting with social development.

Our Social Development Programs are focused on "Education", because we believe it is essential for the development of our society, and "Nutrition", because it is the basis for the growth and healthy development of every person.

In order to establish the implementation of our Social Development Programs, we analyze our operation areas with the highest impact, education and poverty rates, possible alliances with other social actors, and possibility of voluntary participation of employees.

Apart from Social Development Programs, the company makes specific contributions to community organizations in each area, such as hospitals, schools, fire stations, etc.
